Before retiring from the show ring Daedalus achieved championships including 2004 Alpaca Mania Champion Suri Male, over ALL suri males at the show as well as Reserve Champion Fawn Male at the 2004 North American Show -- plus many blue ribbons. All of these in his SECOND fleece. While in his second fleece Daedalus also placed at The 2005 Futurity and the 2005 Nationals. We sheared him after the Nationals so he could get ready for the next stage of his career. Of course we have been showing his fleece: 1st Place and Reserve Champion 2005 PNA Showcase 1st Place Alpaca Fest West (not enough for a championship)
